Posted September 17, 200915 yr Hi everyone.... Well it's happened again, now I'ts DroopyLooLoo toe..... What is it with my birds and thier toes!! I noticed this morning, there was quite a bit of blood on the aviary floor, I took her out and she had blood on her leg and feathers so I bathed her...it doesn't look as if this one is hanging....she looks a bit worse for wear, I will bring her in for the night with a lamp... Anything else I should do, it's not bleeding anymore... Should I be clipping thier nails?
September 17, 200915 yr Apply some betadine. Nails dont look too long. Just another accident or you have hens that like to nip the feet of the one next to them....its more common than you think when they demand more perch space
