October 18, 200915 yr Babies are growing very fast, i have been trying to work out the sex of them. I think i have 2 females and one male. The eldest, which i am guessing hen. Number 2 bub, i think another hen. She was born with plum eyes. Youngest, i think male. Based on these photos I would say all females.

October 25, 200915 yr Author Decided to take some new photos of the chicks, they are changing. The eldest has been sticking her head out of the nestbox, will not be long before she is out. The eldest, 4 weeks old. Number 2, 3 weeks old. The youngest, nearly 3 weeks old.
October 25, 200915 yr They are very cute. Interesting how the last 2 have head strips, but little other markings. Do they have any colour on their rumps or stomachs?
October 25, 200915 yr Author They are very cute. Interesting how the last 2 have head strips, but little other markings. Do they have any colour on their rumps or stomachs? They are just starting to show some blue feathers on their backs and little on their stomachs. Number 2 bub has a couple of cinnamon feathers on her wings but the youngest wings are all white.
November 27, 200915 yr Author I finally have 2 other pairs breeding for me and they are going well. Both hens are first timings but the fathers are not. Here are some pics of my cute babies. 2 eggs were fostered into this nestbox and have hatched the same time her first 2 did.
