Just wondering what variety these two girls are the green has a spot on the back of her head and iris rings. Is the blue hen a recessive pied? thank you

first one a light green sf dom pied (???) i dont think the second is a recessive. the recessive pieds have full black eyes and the wings have much, much more white then full wings :happy-dancing:

First one is a cinnamon green dominant pied. Second one is recessive pied but extremely heavily marked in the wings.

Dom pieds have the head patch. Recessives dont. Recessive splits can have a small spot on the back of their heads occasionally.

Those arent exactly head patches as recessives dont have head patches. Those are just typical recessive markings around the head area.

you need to click on Budgerigars on the right coloum

 

the 1.0 is the cocks side and 0.1 is hens side. there is no green budgie button so if you leave it and not tell the calc the colour it will autmatcically be green.

another point is the dark factor selection there. it says SF and DF.

for greens, if you dont click either it represents light green. if you choose SF it means youre saying dark green and if you choose DF you are saying olive budgie. same with blues; skyblue(no button) cobalt(SF) mauve(DF)
