September 10, 200915 yr my femaile budgie has let three male budgies mate with her. how do i now who is the father Hi Fero.Does she have eggs yet or is she just being "flighty". I'm new at this also but guess if she had eggs one male would start acting like a partner feeding her etc. Ya think!! but that may not mean he's dad to all. Good luck.
January 19, 201015 yr yeah because my bird rarely fight KAZ...........Until the first time they do............read Ross Laidlers last topic FERO..............Yeah i guess so but nothing really happens FERO ............i went out side to have a look at my birds and noticed my other hen was going into someone else breeding box (i only have 2 hens and like 6 boxes) and she killed 3 chicks you seem to have now experienced what happens when you colony breed. Here are some pretty babies from when I used to colony breed ( before I knew better ) Really pretty babies.............. a few days after these photos were taken all babies were slaughtered by another female who decided she wanted the nest for herself. :grouphug:
