Avian Vet Near Rockdale?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for an avian vet near Rockdale for my mum, she has a Green Cheeked Conure that's started feather plucking. Does anyone know of one near there?

If that is Rochdale Qld there is a good Vet at Mt Gravatt.

Rockdale NSW, near Sydney airport.

Rob Marshall is at Carlingford. If you rang there, they might tell you the name of a closer vet. Here is is website birdhealth.com.au/contact.html

Thanks,

my mum ended up taking her to a vet (who'd never seen a green cheaked conure before) but sent away a few samples for testing and nothing turned up.....

Conclusion we came to my Mum was sick and the main sitting area moved from downstairs to upstairs, Petree didnt like this and got angry and bored so plucked out her feathers.

From the local bird shop mum got some stop itch spray and brought a whole heap of toys and started making a speacial effort to talk to her a little more and everything seemed to be going fine feathers started to grow back mum went to her parents for the weekend and came home to a floor full of feathers................. Rinse and repeat.
