Im unsure about the first bird, but they are both recessive pieds. You can confirm this if the first bird has full black eyes (without the white iris ring) In no way possible you can get dominant pieds fromn this paring. Unless you have any other pieds maybe we can see by photos and if you do well ffind the best pairing :rofl:

Recessive pied males do not have blue ceres.

thank you for that the first one also has black eyes so back to the drawing board I am afraidthanks kaz well that clears that up he does have the tiniest tinge of blue on his cere which is why I was leaning towards male I have owned him for 2 years and he has never been interested in any of the others which is why I was not 100 percent sure about him ever and there was also the albino that use to throw me until you all helped me clear that up so a BIG thank you again :rofl:

You will get pied babies...........rec pied to rec pied will give 100% rec pieds.

I am pretty sure the first one is a girl as she has had an egg before YAY! how exciting I think they will be getting put in the breeding box first :rofl:

thanks mysixbabies and I will be sure to keep you posted I am only new to this I started getting my budgies two years ago and started breeding them last year I had my first babes last year I got 5 violet opalines and 2 lovely big dark blue normals and another 5 violet opalines a few weeks old in the nest box at the moment ( those two are the best breeders I have ) so it will be nice to get some colourful babes hopefully this time round with this two
