My blue cock Bailey has started humping the cage's of my other birds, Male or female when I let him out to fly. I got quite embaressed as I let him out when my friends were over to show them how tame he had got and insantly flew over to my other male budgie Ollie and began humping the side of the cage, he did this for about 15 minutes. While my friends sat laughing the heads off. I was saying to myself please be goo, maybe he won't do it....but he DID!!

 

He has always been a little 'Flirty' but not this bad.

Have you considered not getting him a girlfriend because breeding unwanted babies is not the solution but taking the measures of covering him extra for 2 weeks, around 12-14 hours, rearranging his cage, having him forage for food and treats to keep him mind active etc...

I have but I'm affriad he'll stress her out with his constant wanting to mate, He has had a girlfriend but she past away from becoming eggbound
