now I understand why they like shiny things and bright colours. No wonder we look so scary to them.

Don Burke did a segment on this on Burkes Backyard. He showed that blue budgies didn't glow like green ones did........... and another reason why blue budgies in the wild are rare. Not only do the predator like them more (coz because they stand out) but other budgies liked them less coz they didn't glow a brightly.
