Posted August 14, 200916 yr My 14yo son bought two budgies a few months ago. Over the past two weeks, one of the budgies has developed a curling tail (instead of the tail feathers being straight, the end of the tail curls upwards. Is this a normal occurance or indicative of injury/illness? Thanks.
August 14, 200916 yr Hi Kym, I wouldnt see this as anything to worry about. he may be about to moult his tail feather out. You can uncurl it by dipping the tail feather in warm water...if it bothers you any. Cheers and WELCOME
