Inos And Iris Rings

Featured Replies

Hi, I remember reading about someone having a lutino without iris rings, but I can't find the topic.

I never realised until I read that topic that inos are meant to have iris rings.

Since reading that topic, I don't think my albino Casper has iris rings.

He definitely has red eyes, I've double checked and then double checked again just to make sure.

My question is I suppose, is he albino or not? And why would he not have them if he's actually meant to?

Thanks ;)

PS I'm sorry that I couldn't find the other topic so could hopefully get my answers from there.

Heya,

That was my topic ;)

It was concluded my boy honey is a lutino masking Recessive pied. Perhaps yours is the same, except albino??

Thank you Libby, that is interesting.

I currently have him paired with a recessive pied hen and they have 5 eggs so hopefully it will result in recessive babies to give the true story. ;)
