hey i was looking at the uk site and see that thay can ship birds from like uk to germany

 

why do we not do that here in Australia

we do ship them around australia.

this is what i meen way do we have so hard quarantine restrictions but uk do not have as hard quarantine restrictions ??

U.S. is the same way I think it started when the Bird Flu came around.

Shannon i think you will find that you can ship them anywhere in the continent but not into another continent like you can ship from Britain to Germany Britain to say America.

Britain and Germany are members of a common economic market. It would be difficult to place restrictions on shipments within the EC.

We organised a shipment of Birds from the uk to australia in the early 1990's =, we got the birds but also alot of the uk issues. The uk birds didn't do a lot for our birds for many. But they did do well for a few.

 

For some reason, the UK birds didn't click with what we were breeding here, so those that bred UK to UK were the only ones that did okay.
