Where can I get cage fronts in Sydney

I'm not sure if you have a petbarn around your area but I have seen cage fronts in my local one and they were quite cheap for petbarn standards, They were about $7.50.

Hi there Ross, I have found a business in Murwillumbah, NSW that carry a rang of bird accessories. He has a web site that he sell all his items on. I have just purchased some weening/breeding cage from him and im getting drinking/ feeders off him. He also posts the items to you.

There is a pet shop on Camden Valley Way, just near the Forest Lawn Cemetary, that sells cage fronts.

I realise this is an old thread. Any info on availability of cage fronts would be gratefully received? Are the ebay prices the best available?

I have been looking into building cage fronts custom sizes and styles. just a matter of getting my jig sorted out for bar spacing.

L__J, did you ever make those cage fronts ? I’ve been looking for ones Daz had on a Post he did on making breeding cabinet making where he had the nest box suspended off the front of the cage wire front, these were made by a Gatton breeder. Have not found any like these.

Try one of the Pet Barns. We bought cages fronts in Taree and they had 2 different styles then. One where box was fitted into wire front the other you had box inside cage.

May be worth a look if you have one in your area.

The ‘Cage Front Gal /Small Door 600 x 370’ looks like just like what Daz had and what I am after, I will contact them for exact sizes as they suggest as I am going to make my own

Hi paulie & Robyn, I contacted the seller of the budgie cage fronts with external supports for the nest box and they are out of stock & can’t source any at present. Pet Barn in Coffs don’t sell cage fronts at all. I have another large Pet Shop in Coffs I’ll try tomorrow.

Pet Barn is the most stupidest pet store I have been too.

 

They don't stock much breeding gear, not even the cages I was using anymore.

The breeding boxes I asked for a year ago haven't even turned up. the store is mainly concerned about tricking its customers into to toys that could harm your birds.

Struck out with the other large pet store not selling cage fronts ... guess I will just have to keep looking
