August 6, 200915 yr Oil in this cold weather probably isn't the best, as she'll probably not be able to protect herself against the cold. I picked up two from a pet shop who had majorly bad scaleyface. They turned out wonderful after a bit of treatment. Don't jump the gun, try to save it first

August 7, 200915 yr yes im hopeing any info may help others to recognize simular simptoms and get to vet before to late like i was second bird was not well and i needed to sacrafice her to see if my flock was in danger or i could have had him save her but we descused the matter the pro and cons and decided that she was way sick anyway and not got much chance but she could save my whole flock from hiding sickness if we found out exactly what she had and considering i had a bird fit and die the simptoms were not same but both are sighns of phyciosses (was that close kaz) i am medicating birds in morn as avised removed their water last night all birds bar breeding birds are to be put in aviry till treat ment ends under his advice no other birds look ill at all but he said they may of got lucky and just got slight dose and if treated now will beat it but left slowly one by one month after month they will fall in numbers and till finally all gone exept of course the ones amune to it he said it may have just been due to something else but will treat anyway before to late as rezults will be to long to wait as if it was piccociss (second try )then it would of been to late and they could all be effected so///
