These are some photos of my birds other than budgies. There's two turquoisines, two quails and two zebra finches. The finches are hard to get a good photo of they won't keep still long enough, I have a few pictures of empty perches because I was too slow.

The zebra finches live in a cage inside, I wouldn't like to put them with budgies. The others all live together, they get on well especially all the boys. I've only ever had one problem with having them together. One of the budgie hens was jealous of the turquoisine girl and pecked her, she lost a couple of feathers from her back, I took the aggresive hen in for a few days then put her back and they've all been good since. The turquoisines behave like budgies except they are a little quieter it's just like having a couple of funny looking budgies in the flock behaviour wise if that makes sense.

are your king quail laying i saw you have a female and male funny how females are plainer isnt it ive had them in silver as well

i like finches but cant get over how much they dont keep still my daughter had some and the only time i got to really see them was when she caught them to rehome ha ha

Thanks everyone. No, my quails have never laid eggs but they're both only about 9 months old so they might sometime. I love the turquoisines colours as well. Once I had a person who used to breed show budgies come and when she looked at my aviary from across the backyard she thought that I had a red budgie.
