Posted August 4, 200915 yr Saturday I was out checking the breeding birds when I notice my best bird the yellow DF spangle cock bleeding. After catching noticed that he had a deep cut under his cheek patch. He was down with an A Rowe bloodline hen and they had 4 eggs and then she went crazy. But he is very lucky I saw it when I did or I think he would be dead now. Edited August 4, 200915 yr by KAZ
August 4, 200915 yr Author Hospital cage on his own for rest and quite to recuperate and put I cornflour on to stop the bleeding. he seems fine now but I was told they can die from shock up to a week later. If she had of killed him I would of been devastated truly

August 4, 200915 yr Author actually tried that too Kaz but I was scared it would go in his eye as his eye is a bit damaged to it was all swollen up. I called her a few choice names
August 4, 200915 yr I hope he recovers quickly... He is stunning!! I use pepper too! its brilliant!! I agree that near the eyes and nose would be rather irritating though *AA-AA-AAAHHHH-CHHEEOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW*. Edited August 4, 200915 yr by **Liv**
