Day 17

 

 

All looks good with this lot. earlier today I euthanised one of my chicks because of a leg deformity. She too had a very long body, but the hips looked to be a real problem.

Day 19 .... yes I forgot last night ....

 

So today is Day 21 and the last post from me in this thread ..... as you can see the chicks are fine, no evidence of splayed or deformed legs.

 

Throughout this thread others have posted that they have had severe hip displacements in other Ino chicks similar to what I have described - that is interesting but to comment further would be speculation which is exactly what I sought to put to rest by making this thread.

Interesting to follow this Renee, glad you ended up with A1 result this time.

All is well that ends well it seems.

 

Can you do us a favour though Renee? Once they are fully feathered and gorwn, can you come back and post some pics that show us what they look like? I know that everytime I follow threads that see chicks grow, I like to see the "finished product", so to speak.
