Does anyone know what this is? Is it a spider...... or a tick?

It was in my birds water container......do ticks attach themselves to budgies?

I would be inclined to say a water spider as it doesn't look like the ticks we have in NSW

I'd say spider also, the legs look very spidery :thankyou:
