Rip Angel

Well my bad luck with budgies is still running.

While sitting at my computer last night, Angel collapsed in her cage after what I can only describe as a fit. I picked her up (she was still breathing but not moviing and had no responce) and rushed her to the Wattle Grove vet as they are the closet avian vets to me.

Unfortunatley she died on the way there. THe vet nurse told me that is just happens for no reason. She did say that Angel looked very healthly so she had no idea what caused it.

Due to my money suituation I could not afford for the vet to investigate and tell me what was the cause.

Has anyone else been in this situation and is able to give me an idea of what caused this.

Cheers,

Glen

RIP Angel :)

What an unfortunate loss, So sorry to hear it, She could have had a hidden problem... only way to find out is an autopsy from the vet, But assuming your financial situation.... but indeed it is a very terrible loss... alway's is when you lose something as special as a pet bird...

:thankyou:

thank you for your reply.

As I only have one other bird I can not justify the expense of an Autopsy if I had a breeding flock then I would not hesitate. At the moment all is good with my other budgie so I will just see how we go.

Cheers

Glen

:rip: As long as the other budgie is okay, Like i said, i would suspect a hidden illness in the bird..
