Does anyone know if baby beetroot leaves are safe for the budgies, the ones you put in a salad mix. I Looked in the FAQ and couldn't find it.

I give my birds beetroot, the stems and the leaves. I figure that these would be safe.

Thanks Dave, I do give my birds beetroot but I have never given them the leaves but seems you do it must be safe.

they do nto like the leaves as much as they like spinach leaves. They wilt faster and do not last as long, but if that was all they had, as in I did not put sinach in there as well, they would love it
