Rip Daisy

I had Daisy in at the vets today for her spey. She had always been an aggressive rat, not to me, but her cagemates. Spey generally help reduce that, and with reducing the chance of cancer, it's generally a good surgery to have. They all have their risks, but yeah.

Well the surgery went fantastic, and everything went as planned, but she wouldn't wake up. They tried everything, but got nothing back. I went in at about 5pm and cuddled her and spent time with her. She passed at 7pm.

I know that this can happen to anybody, and for her to wake up there may have been an underlying illness there, but she was her normal self when I dropped her off, and if I hadn't have got the surgery done, she would still be with me. :party0011:

Oh hun I'm so sorry for your loss. No one can predict when this happens or why. You had the very best intentions in mind for her and what happened was beyond yours (or anyone's) control.

((((hugs))) xoxox
