November 8, 200915 yr Author Shaggy passed away in the early hours of this morning.... Shaggy started growing really unusual feathers that had extremely thick shafts... if one fell out, they bled in a torrent!! He didn't bleed recently, but these odd feathers with their taxing blood demands on his already stressed body, were the last straw and he couldn't go on any longer. I have photos of the weird feathers and will post them later. Poor Shaggy... Your in peace now my little guy
November 8, 200915 yr So sorry to hear this Liv, you have done such a wonderful job at providing the best conditions possible for them both. I hope Cirrus can continue to enjoy life without his brother.
November 8, 200915 yr Oh no!! I am sooo sorry. You worked so hard for Shaggy to have a happy little life. I love the photo of him with his toys. Poor, poor Cirrus. My sincerest condolences, Liv.
November 9, 200915 yr Shaggy had a better life with you than anyone else I could imagine......I am sorry you lost him. I know you would be in a very low place in your heart over the loss :rip:

Is that his first moult? I can see brighter yellow feathers in his cap so was wondering if he is changing to adult??? feather duster feathers??? What do you feed him now that obviously supports his feather growth so well? Is it the same as before or have you adapted his diet? Edited January 5, 201015 yr by nubbly5
