Posted July 14, 200915 yr Hey everyone, This Saturday I will be hunting for a new budgie cage. I've already visited some of my local pet shops and although there are some cages that are quite suitable, they are WAY overpriced, charging around $250 to $350 for decent sized ones. Is there anyone who knows of a good place in Sydney to purchase bird cages? Thanks.. x
July 14, 200915 yr Tryed ebay yet? they usually have TON'S of cage's for sale, at reasonable price's to.
July 14, 200915 yr There is a pet store on Parramatta Road at Ashfield. If you know the area, you come out onto parramatta road where bunning is, turning right. You drive past the girls correctional facility and it is there on your left, on the corner. I am not sure what the name of it is, but they have good cages, and are relatively cheap. They do not sell animals, just pet supplies.
July 15, 200915 yr Try some of the markets. I get my cages at Dapto (okay not sydney but not that far if you ever wanted a few at a time) Dapto markets, every sunday (10 minutes from wollongong) I can get decent sized breeding cages there $25 - $30 each, and same quality as pet shops that double the price or more. Lots of other cages too all good all cheap! AND TOYS. If you are in south west sydney and feel like a bit of a drive down picton way there is the house warehouse at Tahmoor who sometimes have the same breeding cages and double decker ones for around $30 - $45 each. Not in all the time so you might want to phone them first.
