Here's a picture of the 8 budgie's i have left after the culling .... The box's are their for now until i get a decent drill and bit's and piece's to attatch them higher and all around... so ill have 1 box on each side of the aviary and then 2 in the middle...

i could put 2 on each wall and maybe 3 in the middle... so their's 3 spare box's... but i don't want the box's to be cramped.

P.S one pair wont breed, and that's the grey-green and lutino hen.... only reason i kept them 2 was because the grey-green is a tame budgie, and i bought him the same day as my rainbow lorikeet, (he kept chasing him around the enclosure so i bought him) and i wasn't going to take the lutino from him cause he basically loves her to death :D so really it's only the 3 pair's, that will breed.

Colony breeding................ :D:D:P

You like making your life difficult Matt ?

okay fine i'll take him out tomorrow and have him inside with his mate in a large cage with a stand on the verandah with the galah and lorikeet, and just have my 3 pair's in their.... I didnt want them confined to a cabinet for most of their life.... and i had way too many budgie's in my last aviary...

my reason being said that he wont breed is because he's been with his mate for over a year now, and was in the aviary for at least 8 months... they mated multiple times but the hen never took notice of the box..
