June 29, 200916 yr Do you have another place to put your babies in the future ? If they are left in an aviary with nestboxes you will find they will try and breed from as young as 12 weeks and you will have major problems. Any budgie under 12 months should not be in an aviary where nestboxes are or they will breed too young.

See, im only twelve and its not like i can go and build a birdroom. Actually there is a small shed behind the avairy which my dad mentioned we might be able to build some sort of birdroom one day....

The one you call "laurel"is a grey green. The one you called double factor dominant pied is a single factor dominant pied. Do you have another place to put your babies in the future ? They are NOT meant to be breeding that young. You force them to breed by having them in a place where nestboxes are.
June 30, 200916 yr Author All right then.... I will tell my dad. But dont call the RSPCA if i am still "forcing" the babies to breed if i cant get a new cage Gee. Colours are confusing, especially with the greens and grey-greens and the yellows but i thought that if there is a lot of ground colour on a pdominant pied it mus be DF

Anyway they wouldnt do anything. HOWEVER it would be the responsible thing to do to make sure young birfds are not where nestboxes are unless you have a fund of money to pay vets fees for the things that can go wrong. Get your Dads help. If you cant have the young birds in another aviary then remove the nestboxes. Gee. Colours are confusing, especially with the greens and grey-greens and the yellows but i thought that if there is a lot of ground colour on a dominant pied it must be DF NO....the wing pattern indicates sf dom pied as does the body colour.
June 30, 200916 yr Author i was only joking.... i should have put a smily face after i said that. sorry
