hi,

im just wondering if anyone can tell me what i should expect to pay for a crested budgie or tuft?

and what price to pay at auction?

It all depends on how well bred & size & how much the person thats bidding against you,is willing to bid to.

At the auction.you need to have aprice you are going to bid to & stop at that figure.Being a Auctioneer.

I like the punters, that dont have a set price, you can easyly pull another bid or to out of them.As for quoteing

a price to pay for them,it is a bit hard, with out seeing the birds, they may be worth $20 or they may be $100

If you know someone that is there that knows, there worth, its best to ask for some help if you have

not been to the auction before.

i have been to an auction before and know about what birds fetch top $$$$$ but never seen a crested at auction before.

was just seeing if it was worth my while adding crested birds into my aviaries.

Last auction I went to they all sold for more then $400

They must of been, very good Crests,I did't here about

those,Which auction was that AV.
