Posted June 18, 200915 yr I have a Baby Dominant Pied Budgie born to a Normal Green cock and a Dominant Hen. On Appearance, their cheek's are different colours. One side is blue the other is i cant remember. Is this common? What does it mean? Would love feedback please. Cant post a picture just yet. Wayne
June 18, 200915 yr It's the pied gene. Youcan get different actions from that gene. I have a Dominant Pied cock with different colours on his cere due to the gene.
June 18, 200915 yr You stated 'cheeks' as in the patches on the face, yes it is very common for pied birds to have that, blue is normal and normally the other colour is white.
