Posted June 9, 200915 yr A week or two ago I bought some bean sprouts for Minx to try. She didn't take to them and I soon moved on to other things, and forgot about them. Well... They sprouted! I'm wondering if I could put this container in the bottom of her cage for her to nibble at...

June 9, 200915 yr yes you can give them sprouted seed just make sure to smell it to make sure it is not rancid.
June 10, 200915 yr I do not pretend to be an expert , but my budgies get sprouted seeds at least once in a week . During these days normal seed consumption degreases dramatically :offtopic:
June 10, 200915 yr sprouted seeds are more nutrition then before they sprout, just make sure you smell them like I said because they can get rancid on you, in the FAQ there is an article on soaking and sprouting seeds under Food Section.
