Peanut's Playground!

Hi! I've been so inspired seeing the things you guys have created for your budgies that i decided to make Peanut a new playground! His old one was just one of those plastic-coated metal fold out clothes drying racks, which i wasn't overly happy with as my previous budgie used to chew off the plastic coating- yum :D .

so i collected some eucalyptus branches from my back yard, gave then a good scrub & dried them in the sun. Then i arranged them in a large plastic tub filled with plaster. At the moment it looks fairly busy, as we transferred most of the old playground toys to it to make it welcoming for Peanut. As before, i have a skipping rope (the colourful rope you can see in some of the pics) acting as a bridge between the playground & his cage (his wings are clipped, the cage is on top of a small chest of drawers & the playground is on a small table so the bridge is the only way he can go back & forth without help!)

He was a little wary at first, but once we put him on the playground & showed him where the bridge was, he soon settled in & now he loves it! YAY!
