Posted June 7, 200916 yr Hi all I'm new and need help I have 2 babies that I resued from the avairy. Another female got in the box and killed two babies and I managed to rescue the two youngest. I'm feeding them with paswells hand rearing mix and they seem to take it well. I have been doing this for 5 days now. They are kept warm and seem forever hungry. My questions are how often should I be feeding them, how much in total and how much at a time should they be fed? I thought they were approx 2 and three weeks old but looking at some of the pictures that have been posted, mine look younger than this. If someone can tell me how I post a photo I will do this and hopefully someone can let me know a more accruate age? I really want to keep these little guys alive but I really feel like I'm out of my depth, some help would be greatly appreciated.
June 7, 200916 yr Feed them whenever the crop is near empty. Don't go by the clock. Feed them each time until the feeding response stops. I'll post again shortly with a link to an article which will help you. http://www.totallytiels.com/forum/viewtopi...?f=19&t=295 okay, this is the link which should help you.
