Today I went in the aviary and it was like the birds have never been fed in their lives. they all piled the food dishes eating and making so much mess.

Seed was flying everywhere.

 

It started with a few

More than a quarter of the aviary birds were eating at the same time

Good lord, you wouldn't want to get in between them and the seed.. you could lose an arm

I have had birds do that too Pearce and mine certainly werent starved...like a shark feeding frenzy

my birds do that to where has the cinnamon sky blue hen bin hideing ??

reminds me of going downtown here where I live and throwing seed or bread and the pigeons flock all together or even like feeding a bunch of ducks, great pics.

Those are marvellous pictures and so funny. Mine do that sometimes on a much smaller scale. They just seem to decide that there is no tomorrow or something. There doesn't appear to be any squabbling, though. Amazing!

You have a lot of beautiful budgies there! I really like greywings and cinamons.

 

I love the white/blue bird at the top of the tub and photo.... what type bird is that? it is beautiful!

 

There is also a turquoise/aqua tinted bird that I love too... oooh. sooo many purdy burdies.

They remind me of my cat, it doesn't matter if she was just fed, she still begs for food

i do agree with this coment

the seed should be evened out into difrent areas if you are haveing so many birds eatting at once

put in 3 to four mor dishes the birds will not trampel each other and be more able to eat the amount needed each

i have two very large plastic meat trays afoot apart

but it isnt cause their staved my birds fly at me sometimes as they know its feed time that before trays are down and my trays always got seed freash daily as they floor dishes i like to keep it clean i feed the wild birds the left overs from night before

 

your aviry is very colourfull beautiful to watch im sure
