Posted June 3, 200916 yr Hi Everyone, I'm so excited I got 2 pairs of budgies a month ago.2 blues and 2 greens.Blues are 3 months old and greens are 5 months old.Blue ones are damn cute.I have named them bittu,chittu and kallu,bullu. I have a problem..my budgies only like millets and corriander leaves.They dont eat apples/cabbages?Can you tell me what foods should I use to feed them??

June 3, 200916 yr Hi and welcome. I'd also suggest corn, carrot, peas leafy greens (not lettuce) I look forward to seeing your budgies and just remember not to breed them until they are 12 months old.

June 4, 200916 yr Hi & welcome! It might take them a while to get used to vegies & fruit- my little Peanut is a few months old ,i keep putting various vegies in his cage but haven't seen him try any of them yet. Will keep trying!!
