Posted May 27, 200916 yr Well now I know why I've been feeling like c@#p for the last 6 months. I was diagnosed (finally) with Fatigue Syndrome. Its not the chronic one but it can develop into that if I'm not careful. It has been very very frustrating going to GP's and then specialists where I eventually got my answers as to whats wrong with me.l Just wondering if anyones had it as well and how you coped with it?
May 27, 200916 yr A friend of mine off here in Perth has CFS, her name is meg or "aunty bugin" i think it is? Perhaps try to PM her ?
May 29, 200916 yr l know how it sucks to have a medical conditions that makes you fatigue. At least now you know what the problem is and can correct it. How l know what it is like, is that l have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I get fatigue easily but l now take some vitamins that l have noticed that l'm not as tired. l take iron, folic acid, b12 and centrium forte. If you ever need someone to talk to, feel free to pm me.
May 29, 200916 yr I have never heard of fatigue syndrome, but I have heard of chronic fatigue and have known of lots of people who have it. It's horrible, and I'm sure yours is too- I hope for your sake that it doesn't become chronic
May 29, 200916 yr A friend of Mum and Dad's has a daughter with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I believe it takes a long time to get over, and like some illness, never really goes away. It's important to look after yourself, do as you're told and rest... It's not something you can 'work through' and you'll need to become very aware of the signs and symptoms so it doesn't get you down again. I hope you can take the time to look after yourself and start to feel a little better soon. Hugs xoxoxo
