May 11, 200916 yr Author South Queensland is now in count down mode. By that I mean that 1/3 of the clubs have selected their entries for the Preselection this Sunday. My club is on this Saturday. I have spoken (by email) to Jim Fletcher, and all is well in Tasmania. There is now 12 day till the Nationals. Are all teams ready?
May 11, 200916 yr Will Team Vic win yet again that is the question on everyones lips... why does Victoria always win (19 out of 34 might as well be always)??? Is there a way to find out which club has been the most successful over all the years? Edited May 11, 200916 yr by JimmyBanks

May 12, 200915 yr Author No......... SQ is the danger. We have always been a close 3rd... Had everyone worried at Busselton on Saturday night as there was not much between Vic, NSW and SQ. There will be a time that that SQ will win. it might even be this year.
May 12, 200915 yr Not unless they are outstanding. Currently any mature bird with a Red ring is eligible for the Nationals. Are you saying that black AND mature red rings are eligilble? I always thought it was just the previous years i.e. 2008 rings (black) eligible for 2009 Nationals, 2009 rings (red) eligible for 2010 Nationals.

May 12, 200915 yr Author No only Black rings for this Nationals.... Why do you ask?? Edit: okay I just read it.. No 4 months I counted back that would be January. No only Young birds that have last year's ring on. So they have to be rung prior to 15th December 2008 to be elagable. Edited May 12, 200915 yr by Daz realised what the comment were about
