June 10, 200915 yr Author Update: all the chicks are looking great, unfortunately the 2 day old chick did not make it, the reason why i think is, it hatched 1 day after the first... so i would say it hatched too early...and didn't survive.
June 10, 200915 yr Author Unfortunately, i no longer have a camera, i plan on getting one as soon as possible though, my last camera became history when it dropped on the cement,

June 12, 200915 yr Alrighty, ill give her back to the pet shop, what about her huge egg bum, will it go away? It will reduce some in size but will stay spongey feeling.
June 12, 200915 yr Author She actually layed an egg, only to find that it had quite a fair bit of dried up blood on the egg, so i threw it out and took her out of the aviary for a few days then stuck her back in, she now plays with the quails down the bottom regularly with her other mate, i even saw her sit on the quail eggs while the quails decided to go to the other side of the aviary for a feed
