What Type Of Feeders Do You Use?

I just setup 2 breeding cabinets today and installed the generic tube type feeders and waterers i.e. I used the same thing for both. Just interested to hear what other people use in their cabinets for seed and water. I'm just a bit worried that the tube type feeder may not be big enough for 2 budgies to feed from at the same time. Cheers.

Depends on the type of tube feeders. The petshop or supermarket types having a thinner tube than some and being made of hard plastic dont last long before they split. The softer plastic and larger tube drinkers and feeders last ages without splitting. A lot of tube feeder or jar feeders are prone to clogging up, especially if you have weevil moths about. I use dishes these days in preference to tube feeders, and I use tube drinker on breeder cages, and large drinkers in the aviary and feeding platforms and large trays for seed.

I dont use tube seed feeders. They clog up, they are messy and they are annoying. I use chineese takeaway dishes full of seed on the floor of the cage. Lasts ages with plenty of seeds to choose from.

I use tube drinkers for water. Not crazy clarks or waynes world brands either. I get them from my club they are softer plastic and they do not break as easy. The base of it is also softer plastic and doesnt break up like cheap brands do.
