WE ARE GOING YIPPI

 

Very stressed about birds though,

I did the spots on the violets and the plainer one of the too must of got stressed because his feathers at the top of his chest are now ruffled and sticking up, I sprayed him lightly on his front today hoping they would go down but no..

AND the 2 white double factors have blood on the side of their wings and I was told to wash where the blood is with baby shampoo which made it much worse. So aggrrhhh

Oh well these things happen.

 

 

Try washing it with Milk, gets blood out every time. Baby shampoo only spreads it and makes it much worse.

Is it too late now Heath to wash with milk as it is nearly 3 o'clock, your write the baby shampoo spread it everywhere. Or should I just leave it and hope for the best.

How wet do I need to get them with milk.

I would do it now! Maybe get the hair dryer out, making sure he is completely dry.

Splatt,won the violet class & 3rd in the double factot & it is reserve for the national, Good one Julie,I did't get

back to congratle you on your wins,I spoted you ,but was busy with other things,was there any others from the forum,that went to the shield today.

Perhaps thats when I was I was Haveing a little nana nap,Did you have any birds in the shield,You did't have a

orange top on by any chanceI was looking around for any faces I had't seen before & there was a tall thin girl

I had't seen before.Yes the pet shop bird,came 5th if I was not mistaken,& it was a strong class in say the top 10 to 12.If you was there at the presentation,you would of seen me,it was me that walked out the front & wanted to

shift the speaker,to stop that static,I don't know why they don't buy a decent PA system.that one never been any

good.

I went to the shield in SA today and there are some amazing birds. To win a first is an outstanding achievement!!!!

No Julie's bird is the reserve bird,it would only go

if one of the other birds,could't go, for what ever reason.

Thanks everyone it was an awsome result. Yes I met AV, Pippy and Budgielover 13 it was great to put faces to the names.

I recieved a trophy and certificate for the violet and a rossette for a member of the national team, I might take pics later and show you guys.

 

My 3rd DF Spangle is reserve for the Nationals

My Violet isn't going because NO violet is going because it is a new class, next year I think, I didn't get ant points for the violet at all , not even for the club. They said at the next shield the uncapped the class will be a point receiving class.

If Violets were at the nationals Jimmy my boy would of being going ah well maybe next time. BUT gee it is really tough competition there to get a first is great especially against all those Champion breeders.

You should be very proud Splat you did great! Sorry i didn't get to come and see them.

Macka and I were looking for you Jimmy It was a long day very exhausting but I was over the moon with my wins .

They haven't rang for my reserve to go yet, hopefully they won't

you don't want them to call you Splat?

No Jimmy because if they do I have to drive all the way to Melbourne to drop him off and tomorrow I will be in Bendigo all day getting my car fixed.
