Posted May 9, 200916 yr Hi everyone, After my beloved budgie Olive died recently, leaving her mate behind, I'm looking into getting another bird to keep him (Beau) company. If possible, I'd like to house him with my female cockatiel (Rosie). I know that's not always recommended, but they have been together previously in a large cage with another cockatiel and budgie, and were fine together. If I were to get just one other bird to go in with them, would it be best to get another budgie, or cockatiel? And should I get a male or female? Also, I'm looking for some recommendations for good breeders in Perth. Thanks for any advice!
May 9, 200916 yr There are lots of good breeders on here from perth so you wont have to look far Welcome by the way
May 9, 200916 yr I'd go for another male since your current one is male. And send libby a PM, she's awesome and in WA.
