Hi Gina. Yes, she is still alive but only just. I'm on a pension and going back and forth to the vet for more tests isn't possible. Watching her each day I sometimes wonder which one of us is in more pain. ;)

It seems she may be responding the the Triple C. It's the 10th day of treatment today. She is quiet this morning but I knew she would be after yesterday's insanity. She chirped and moved around almost playfully for about 3 hours yesterday. She even replied to my whistles for the first time. Highly unusual behaviour for her. She must have worn herself out. Hopefully the Triple C can clean out all of the bugs she has and she's not too far gone for her body to be able to repair itself. I'll keep up the treatment for at least another 10 days.

I hoped you've turned the corner and she comes good for you. :D

Well, this is the 30th day of Triple C treatment. She is still sick. I notice She has a nasty looking brown stain on the feathers above her Cere. I've ordered some Ronivet as a sort of last resort. If She had Canker though it probably should have killed her already. She still has difficulty swallowing food and water. It doesn't stop her though.

Oh... poor bird. Have you taken her back to the vets for further assessment/tests?

Not affordable unfortunately. If I had the money I'd spend it on her.

How unfortunate. Was Ronivet spoken about in the original vet assessments?... or why are you using it?

Just in case.

She was diagnosed with respiratory infection but antibiotics don't seem to be fixing her.
