There may be a clear egg or two in the daughters nestbox ...I am not sure. BUT when they lay so many, often the last ones laid take a few days to colour up. In Omelette's nestbox...no surprises....grey green to grey green means grey green babies I guess. Dad is split blue though. How many nests ? Dont know. Will count for you tomorrow. I have around 30 breeding cages on the go right now in various stages. Edited May 16, 200916 yr by KAZ
May 17, 200915 yr Author Third chick to Omelette hatched today. The foster chick died...seemed to have an issue with its crop. Omelettes daughters nine eggs were candled and I threw out 4.
May 18, 200915 yr Sorry to hear about the foster chick. Look forward to seeing all the babies from Omelette and her daughter.
May 18, 200915 yr its always a shame when a chick die's, to think he had a chance at life just to have it thrown away like that, almost brings a tear to your eye when they die, i remember when i was a young little fella, around 8years old, had my skyblue dominant pied cockbird for about 6 years, and of all things it was my birthday and i took the cover off his cage and he was dead stiff leg's up on the bottom of the cage, i cryed all day and never got over it till a few months later...horrible experience, its gonna be heart crushing when my galah and rainbow lorikeet (tame inside birds) die in the future...
