When I put these birds down last year for the first time I told everyone that had come to visit and have a look at the birds that this mating wasn't areal good one because my first attempt of breeding for that yaer was all clear eggs so in the end I thought I will just have a bit of a muck around jsut see if they were both fertile as they were young birds I bred the year before.

Well this is what I got and they have turned out to be my best breeding pair

There was another White DF hen from the second nest she was really quite nice bit had strong suffusion on her front, MB got her, as I have a lot of DF spangles.

The parents are down now with 2 babies with 2 more eggs to hatch have my fingers crossed for more lovely birds.

Thanks MSB and Kaz, I feel I am on my way Kaz, these 2 birds are worth their weight in gold to me as every baby they have had up till now are exceptional.

The cock is passing on all is good traites even young from another hen he was down with last year are all very nice will take some pics of them soon and will post.

The only thing that lets this fella down is his suffusion and his yellow isn't buttercup enough but as for type feather etc he is exceptional BUT the best thing is he is throughing his type and feather :hap:
