how old he is - because i can see his iris clearly and his head has no rings - completley white.

how he passed quarintine - we have seen no signs of illness and we had a vet check up yesterday and was given the all-clear.

okay but you isolated him for 45 days right?

Some diseases are not visible until a bird gets stressed or is introduced into a new environment.

i bought the bird one month ago.

i would not post anything about him.

quaranteen is 30 days and that means i have had him for 30 days

red is 09. so he is around 4 months of age, unless the ring is now a show ring, if so he could be any age.

You said AFTER the 23rd april ( just 6 days ago ) that you were getting the new bird SOON. You didnt have him then so you have not had him in quarantine at all. You also said after I gave you info to phone the vet for handrearing formula, that you "phoned" three vets yesterday, and nothing about going to the vet at all. You dont need to tell us you quarantined when you didnt. We can work that out for ourselves :laughter:

Red might not be '09... Mariah is in NZ and I'm not sure if they have the same ring colours as us...

yeah but i did not mean kai.

and my dad keeps getting me cages and i am going to build a flock.

we were going to get crystal (if she not sold yet) on 24th but my money did not come in so.......i have to wait.

and i did have him in too for quarinteen.

and the cage is well-isolated since it is at my dads house.

we are also getting more budgies and my dad is going to help out too.
