Hen hasn't sat on egg for like 2 days should I move it to another hen that will?

 

Also can somebody please tell me does it have to be around 18-22 for hen and cock to mate or is this just when the eggs are hatching?

if its just the one egg, it is normal for the hen not to sit on it. Hens normally start to incubate after they lay 3 eggs.

 

Eggs hatch 18-21 days after laying depending on when incubation started.

o thanks mate was a bit worried that i would have had to transfer the egg to my other pair that is laying.
