How Much Birds You Reckon This Aviary Could Hold?

Featured Replies

6 to 8 not breeding and NO nestboxes.

oh,cool.

i will not breed until i have enough cages for the birds

I am curious about your advice, Kaz. I have an aviary that is D 90cm x W 180 cm and H 180cm and was told this was only suitable for 6 to 8 budgies. Is there some sort of minimum size before you can go past this number of budgies?

I wouldnt have more than 8 in that aviary as kaz said. Its not the shape I would choose. Budgies dont need height, they need length and depth. Flip it on its side and bolt it to your house. Would fit more that way.

I believe I told you ten comfortably which in my mind means a few more than ten.
