Okay, so I used to feed my guys Trill cockatiel or budgie seed. Heard that it wasnt that good, and it was getting more and more filler seed in it.

 

So I changed to a seed from my local stockfeed store, and they seem to be throwing alot of it out.

 

Any suggestions on what seed to buy, and where from? Would I be better to make up my own? If so, what seed and what size bags would be suitable to feed 10 cockatiels and 14 budgies before the seed went off?

I get my bird seed from stock stores. Trill is one of the better "pet shop" brands but I've never used it, waste of money for me. Try Riverina, or Cob and co. Dont know any other good brands. Try some stock feed stores or farm supply stores. You will know if the seed is junk quality. Good luck.
