Lovely lot there, the albino in the first shot looks like she might be lacewing you can see her markings in her mask and wings.

yes I would agree hilly, could be a messy eater i guess, but they certainly look like very slight cinamon markings on the mask...

I knew it!!! I thought she might be a Lacewing. Was sold to me as Albino but I noticed the same markings, 1st thought it might be stains from food but looking at the picture and looking at her again she does have cinnomon markings on her mask and they haven't gone away since I got her. Cool, I like Lacewings. No markings on her wings though, mask only. Looked again at the picture and although you can see marking on her wings in the picture you can in real life, maybe the flash brings them out.

Thanks I new the Sky blue Oplaine was also a spangle just must have left it out for some reason when I was typing. Both pics of the Skyblue Oplaine Spangle are of the same bird.

Some pics of the gang now in the aviary.

The aviary temporarily has one of those plastic table cloths haning on the outside acting as a wall to block a little wind until my partner puts some more colourbond sheets on, it works well enough.

Thanks,

I'm not sure if I'm going to use Queenie for breeding as she developed a feather cyst a while back and since they're hereditary I'm a bit worried about her passing it on to her young.

If anyone knows how likely it is that feather cysts are to be passed on down the line any info would be appreciated.

Not all feather cysts are hereditary. Some can be triggered by mites infecting the feather follicle.

Hmmm......... so maybe I should give her a try and see how the bubs turn out.

If they're going to get a feather cyst (hereditary type) does it usually happen in their 1st/2nd moult?

The grey cocks are brothers and Split Albino. Any suggestions on pairings (with each other or any of my other birds welcome).

For now they'll be resting in quarantine and getting a little TLC, while I think of names........
