Posted April 21, 200916 yr Earlier this month l had trouble with the mice in my house. So l trapped them and got them all, even my cat got a few. Well today l was mixing up some more budgie mix for my budgies. I ran out of their pellets, so l went to the cupboard to get more. Instead l found one new pellet bag empty, 2 new bags of honey eggbiscuit mix empty and 2 new seed bags empty ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, the bags where full of mice poop I hate mice!! Now once l spend more of my $$$$ on some more feed for the budgies, instead of storing them in the cupboard. I'm going to store them in air tight containers from now on. l just wished l did that before now. Edited April 21, 200916 yr by birdluv

April 22, 200916 yr We got rid of a few a couple weeks ago. Seems you just get rid of one family and another moves in to take their place!
April 22, 200916 yr Awww, hugs luv... Agree, go for the airtight containers, mouse traps and search for any entry holes in your house and use steal wool... with the traps, I use peanut butter, never wash the traps... and move them around when they start being empty. Good luck mate.

April 22, 200916 yr Do you have a brick house? They enter brick homes via the weep holes and can climb right to the top of brick homes. There is stuff you can buy from the hardware store to put into the weep holes to stop mice getting in that doesn't block the weep holes to still let the moisture out. If your home is timber then I can't figure a way to stop them except lots of traps.

So sorry for my lateness in replying, my laptop decided to break down on me last friday. So l'm sharing a laptop with my sis. it is her laptop so l only have a limited of time using it my laptop should be fixed by the end of this week. The house is not a brick house. Yeah, l have a ton of traps set that l frequently check. So far the mice activity has stopped and l'm searching and filling holes with steel wool. Hopefully l have found all the holes.
