This is my guess from what I've read on here but I'm not 100%

1.)

Albino Hen A to Sky Blue Split Albino Opaline Cock

Albino Cocks possible

Sky Blue Oplaine/Albino Cocks No - they will be split to opaline, not visually opaline

Albino Hens possible

Sky Blue Oplaine Hens possible

2.)

Albino Hen B to Grey Split Albino Cock

Albino Cocks possible

Normal Grey/Ablino Cocks possible

Albino Hens possible

Normal Grey Hens possible

3.)

Double Factor Spangle Hen to Grey Spangle Cock

I am assuming that the double factor spangle is a white based bird

Grey DF Spangles No such thing, it is a DF spangle, so it will appear white

Grey SF Spangles possible

4.)

Lutino Hen to Grey Green Split Lutino Cock

Lutino Cocks possible

Grey Green Normal/Lutino Cocks

Lutino Hens

Grey Green Normal Hens

You have to remember that the Lutino is just a green bird with the Ino gene, so when the ino gene is not passed on, the green gene is. This means that you may end up with Grey cocks that are split lutino, green cocks that are split lutino, I think you can get green cocks that are not split lutino, and green hens that are obviously not split.

5.)

Sky Blue Yellow Face Hen to Blue Yellow Face Cock

Normal/Opaline Cocks

Oplaine Hens

Some YF and some DFYF

Where does the opaline come into it? I am guessing by your results that you are saying that the cock is opaline?

You will get some SF Yellow face, that appear visually YF'ed, and you will get some Double Factor YF, which apear white-faced. All will be blue.

6.)

Grey Yellow Face Cinnamon Hen to Grey Green Cinnamon Cock

I know that all these guys will be cinnamon but not sure about it any further than that........

You will get some greys, some grey greens, and you could get some greens. It depends on whether or not the grey yellow face is a double factor grey or a single factor grey.

Half the greys will be yellow faced.

7.)

Grey Green Oplaine Hen to Lutino Cock

Grey Green Oplaine/Lutino Cocks

Lutino Hens

Yet again, you have to realise that a greygreen bird will pass on either the grey or the green gene to the chick.

Therefore you will get some grey/lute cocks, some green/lute cocks, some greygreen cocks, some green cocks.

All hens will be lutino

8.)

Sky Blue Hen to Grey Green Recessive Pied Cock

Normal/Rec. Pieds

All green (split blue?)

All will be normals split to rec. pied.

You could get some greens, plus some greys. All will be split to blue.

9.)

Sky Blue Oplaine Spangle Hen to Light Green Dominant Pied Cock

All Oplaine

Spangles

Dom. Pieds

Spangle Dom. Pieds

All light green (split blue?) unless cock is split for blue?

25% spangles

25% spangle pieds

25% pieds

25% normals

All light green/blue unless cock is split blue.

My head hurts :boogie:

Remember, these are jsut some estimations off the top of my head. We have no considered what would happen if our greygreens are split for blue, nor if any of the males are secretly split cinnamon, nor if any of the males are secretly split opaline. The results are educated guesses but in reality, guesses are what they are.

Hope this helps somewhat. You did very good with your estimations.

By the way, now my head hurts too!!!!

Thanks, I'm actually surprised at how close I came, also the grey I said was split for Lutino is split for Albino and the Lutino hen I was planing to pair him with is Albino and the invisable oplaine gene is because I forgot to say the cock was oplaine.

Thanks for the help :boogie:

Thanks,

It will be interesting to see what emerges from the pairs, hopefully it can give me an indication of what genes they are hiding (if any) and whos hiding what.

Any suggestions on the pairs? (found on above link)

Should I switch some to get better quality birds or did I do okay?
