*Don't slam your door with your Budgie in the room. A friend of mine came into their room angry and slammed their door behind him and his Budgie had a heart attack.

oh that is sad fortunately it is almost impossible for my door to slam!

oh poor little budgie I had no idea how sensitive they are . Luckily my door is hard to slam too

and don't slam your door when your budgies on top of it!!! i know someone who did that and squashed the bird.

How did the person manage that? Didn't they even realise the budgie was on the door, so careless

they were new budgie owners and weren't used to the budgie being around.

I have got those door stoppers on my doors that you can get to prevent kids trapping their fingers. Just as a precaution

hehe budgeover do you mean those little springy things? i used to love playing with those when i was little!

no those things you clip onto the top or side of your doorto preventthem being shut to.

ah, nevermind then, we used to have little springs stuck onto the wall near the skirting boards to stop the doors being slammed. but if you move them slowly then the spring bends allowing you to shut the door i think it is a good precaution to tak eif your budgies might be playing on the floor near a door or something.

 

i just generally have to shout watch out to anyone that may open the door!

We don't have spring, I put up printed notices on all our doors, near the handles,.

(bigger ones on the exit and entrance doors) saying 'Beware, Tweetie and Buster are out and about' in big bold red letters. It works

aaaw thats soo sad... i wont ever slam my door, because when i slam it, i can hear the door all the way from the basement

i have a sign on my door saying watch out budgie about hehe it so cool and everyone knocks before they come in ..my moms granny had her parrot out and someone came in the door and opened it and the parrot was behind the door and it got squashed .. :bluebudgie:
