This might be a totally obvious question as I haven't tried many larger pet shops yet. Smaller ones don't have much variety.

 

Where would you get a good cage? By a good cage I mean one that is a decent size, shape, bar width, set up for getting things in and out, sturdy, unlikely to rust, and not too expensive.

 

Cosmo's cage was a hand-me-down and he really needs a new one now, as the paint has started to peel and it got a bit broken when we moved house (although it is temporarily fixed quite well). We want one a bit wider than his for when we get a second budgie, but the only bigger cages I have seen are taller but no wider. Which is okay but not ideal.

 

I have seen lots of cages in discount shops but they don't look too good. Should I just try more pet shops do you think?

 

 

or I could just take my mum's empty patio aviary that she is keeping for us and slowly fill it with more

Why not!!! :rip: I got mine off ebay... they have some great cages... just shop around either on the internet or in shops... and ask plenty of questions... Feel free to post any possibly photos here as well as you are sure to get an honest answer!!!

I got mine off of e-bay, just read over the sellers comments to him, make sure he has been around for a while and it would be okay.
