:) Got the camera out today, birds going through a severe moult although most have almost finished now. Few bald spots, lots of feathers on the ground, some missing tails- not looking pretty at all in my aviary at the moment :D

Few from the baby (and retiree) aviary

Old pegleg still going strong

I am being hassled to bring birds to the show on Sunday but all of mine look like all of yours :D

Mine are looking horribly spikey also! haha some of the poor ones have a whole head of pins LOL!

Spikes and tail-less birds in my aviary too! What... a show during major moult? Wouldn't you think a show during this time of the year is a bit hard to pull off Kaz? Do many shows run at this time of year?

All my birds moult at this time too. Feathers everywhere. Excellent pictures.

Awe I love your spikies Pie...your birds are just gorgeous, what happened to the first one's wing?

Sorry I got rained out working yesterday so came home and got the camera out

I have to pick things. When I see spikes, my hand goes out, budgies' heads go down and they get a rub. Of course you cannot do that with an aviary of birds, I know.

I know what you mean, me and my budgie love nothing more than a good head rub when he's spiky.

(Although his idea of a head rub is him rubbing his head on my face :) , gotta love a face-full of feathers!)
